There is a reason why companies hire a CEO to make critical decisions. If you want something to get done, then there needs to be someone in charge with a single, unified vision. While the Board of Trustees generally retains the power to fire the CEO and may provide guidance for their direction, if they were to attempt to approve each and every one of the CEO’s decisions, the company would quickly falter. It would be unable to keep pace with the market.

Obama Doesn’t Care What Americans Think
Nearly two months after the Pelosi managed to convince 217 members of Congress to vote against the will of the American people, opposition the health care takeover remains strong. In Rasmussen’s most recent poll, 56% support a full repeal of the law. The opposition has remained consistent since the bill passed. Contrary to liberal predictions, support isn’t growing.
Pelosi said Congress had “to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.” And we’re learning fast. Verizon Wireless was forced to take a $970,000,000 charge to offset new costs created by the law. AT&T fared even worse with a $1,000,000,000 charge. More recently, White Castle has announced that a single provision in monstrous legislation will effectively slice their net revenue in half. So much for opening new stores and taking a slice out of 9.9% unemployment. White Castle has shelved planned expansion.

The OfA Spam Machine
On the one hand, I have to hand it to the perpetual Obama campaign. Organizing against America is an effective enterprise, not because it represents the views of a majority of Americans, but because it has mastered the art of AstroTurf to make minority views appear predominant. I’ve signed up for numerous websites, including Organizing for America’s email list. Their most recent target is Senator Burr (R, NC). Because he doesn’t support Obama’s attempted seizure of the financial industry, Senator Burr has been branded as “someone who values campaign donations more than the nation’s fiscal stability.” Then, you’re directed to submit a cookie cutter editorial to a number of newspapers with a convenient web app.

His show averages somewhere around 20,000,000 listeners, a number unparalleled in other markets. Rush is synonymous with Conservative talk.
